Thirty-six millimetres, fluted bezel, day spelled out at twelve and the date at three. The proportion that a dress watch had before everything got big, on a President-style bracelet that tapers into the case.

Inside is the Seagull ST16 — a Chinese automatic with forty hours of reserve, chosen here because a day-date complication needs a movement built for it rather than a module bolted on. Sapphire with anti-reflective treatment, 316L throughout, ten bar.

Eight executions across steel, gold tone and rose gold tone. This is the piece the collection opens with.
